Former AFL boss to be sentenced for child sex grooming
FORMER AFL regional manager Mark Heaney will be sentenced on Monday over the online grooming of a child.
The 43-year-old was in charge of the AFL's Northern NSW operations when he was arrested at Coffs Harbour in 2012.
He has pleaded guilty to one count of using a carriage service to groom a person under 16 years of age.
Three other charges were withdrawn last year.
The sentence will be handed down in the Coffs Harbour District Court.
