Four people charged with drug offences after Childers raids

FOUR people have been charged - two women and two men - with drug offences after police carried out raids on two Childers addresses.

Detectives from the Bundaberg Criminal Investigation Branch searched two Childers homes yesterday morning where ice, marijuana, cash and prescription medication was among the items seized by police.

At one address about 100gm of marijuana and 5gm of ice was found in clip seal bags. A quantity of cash was also found.

A 20-year-old man was charged with two counts of possess drugs and one count of possessing drug utensils and a 27-year-old woman was charged with possessing drugs.

The search of the second address resulted in a 23-year-old man being charged with possessing drug utensils while a 27-year-old woman was charged with possessing dangerous drugs, drug utensils and prescription medication.

All four accused will appear in the Childers Magistrates Court next month.
