Fraser Coast cricket to return with a bang

CRICKET: Five Fraser Coast cricket fields will be in action simultaneously for the first time this season on Saturday.

Wet weather forced the cancellation of last week's opening reserve grade games as well as the Goodchild Shield.

Fraser Coast A-grade cricketers will return to the local format on Saturday while reserve grade players will take the field for the first time since the end of the 2017-18 season.

In A-grade, Cavaliers face Bushrangers and Past Grammars take on Australs. In reserve grade, Craignish plays Bushrangers at Hervey Bay, Brothers Shamrocks face Tinana and Mary River plays Bay Power at Maryborough.
