Fraser Coast Youth Achievement Awards recognises youngsters

YOUR STORY: 

On Friday, 9 October 2015 the Maryborough Neighbourhood Centre hosted the 2015 Fraser Coast Youth Achievement Awards at the Brolga Theatre and Convention Centre.

Formerly known as the Maryborough Youth Achievement Awards, the Maryborough Neighbourhood Centre has been hosting this event for 13 years recognising the extraordinary talents of young people in Maryborough and surrounds.

In 2014, the centre was proud to launch the Fraser Coast Youth Achievement Awards expanding our reach to Hervey Bay and its surrounding districts.

This year marks the 14th year the Maryborough Neighbourhood Centre have been hosting this event and the exceptional talent shown by our young people never disappoints.

Our Winners and Runner-ups are:

Overall Young Achiever of the Year
Winner: William Connell, Aldridge State High School
Runner-up: Anneliese McKee, Aldridge State High School

Academic Achievement Award
Winner: Tiahna Cooper, Urangan State High School
Runner-up: Monica Boulton, Hervey Bay State High School

Sporting Achievement Award
Winner: Hannah Karrasch, Aldridge State High School
Runner-up: Lachlan Amodeo, St. Mary's College

Achievement in the Arts Award
Winner: Ella Webb, Aldridge State High School

Community Involvement Award
Winner: Nadine Ncube, Fraser Coast Anglican College

Cultural Involvement Award
