Fraser district rugby league team dominates Wide Bay trials

READER'S STORY: The Fraser District Representative under-15 rugby league team has dominated the Wide Bay Trials in Bundaberg.

The team defeated Bundaberg, Cooloola and South Burnett districts to remain undefeated for the day.

Six players from Fraser District were selected to represent Wide Bay at the State Championships in Brisbane between May 1 and 4.

The players selected were Jack Gauld and Zack Charteris from Maryborough State High School, J'Maine Hopgood and Tyrell D. from Xavier Catholic College, Caleb Hackett from Hervey State High School and Simon Asela from Aldridge State High School.

It is an outstanding achievement by these players and we wish them luck in their journey for Queensland selection.
