Game on for action replay

YOU could have been excused for thinking you were watching a replay if you saw the second game of the Fraser Coast League men's first division played in Maryborough.

Nothing was different in the end result, only the two teams playing in the game.

Sandy Straits beat Granville 4-3 in the opening game after it was locked up at 2-all at half-time.

Nick Kjaer scored a hat-trick for Sandy Straits while Bradley Mitchell scored the other one.

Robert McPhie, Hayden Bedford and Josh Halley replied for Granville.

Sunbury won the all-Maryborough showdown against defending premiers, Doon Villa, by the same 4-3 margin and after the game had been 2-all at half-time.

Dave Chapman (two), Sam Beck and Jarred Phersson scored for Sunbury.

James Bennett, Tyler McKenna and Lachlan Kenny were the Doon Villa scorers.

The clash between United Warriors and Bayside Strikers was called off.
