Get hands on with science circus in Maryborough

IF YOU have ever wondered how your reflexes compare to a Formula One driver or how you can freeze a shadow on a wall, head along today to the Maryborough Showgrounds.

From 5 to 8pm on Wednesday November 4, the Shell Questacon Science Circus will be in full swing.

Coming from Questacon, the National Science and Technology Centre in Canberra, the circus will feature more than 40 hands-on exhibits.

Circus presenter Isla Nakano said it would be a family-friendly event.

"Our program is about inspiring and engaging young Australians," she said.

There will be four science shows running throughout the night.

Tickets can only be bought with cash.

Adults are $6, students $5 and a family $18.

The exhibition will be held from 5pm to 8pm at the Maryborough Showgrounds.
