Get ready to hit the hip hop scene

LOOKING for something fun to do this Christmas, or maybe the kids are in need of a bit of entertainment? This just might be for you.

Young people on the Fraser Coast keen to develop their music skills are invited along to hip hop workshops in Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Howard.

Rob d is coming to the Fraser Coast for two days before Christmas and will cover “hip hop history, elements of hip hop and career pathways in the music and arts industries,” Fraser Coast council youth development officer Sue Lawler says.

“Any young people on the Fraser Coast keen to develop their music skills should take this opportunity to come along to hear what Rob d has to say. He is well regarded in Brisbane and elsewhere and I am sure all the young artists who attend will leave his workshops keen to write and perform their own work.”

The workshops cost $4 and will be held at the Hervey Bay PCYC on December 21, Howard Community Centre and Brolga Theatre on December 22.
