Real life tree gets most likes as readers share their photos

THE Fraser Coast is Christmas-ready, with families sharing photos of their festive trees to the Chronicle's Facebook page.

Jessica Karslake shared a photo of her first Christmas with a live tree, attracting 22 likes on the Chronicle's Facebook page. She said she hoped it survived a hot Christmas in Hervey Bay.

Lloyd and Amy Fauchelle shared a photo of their daughter putting the star on top of the tree.

More than 90 people liked the Chronicle's post, while about 115 people shared photos of their tree.

Others shared special memories, with one reader saying that they always put their tree up on November 15 as it was the day their mother had passed away.

"My mum loved Christmas as it was a time for family," she wrote.
