Missing 12-year-old girl found safe

UPDATE: A 12-year-old girl reported missing from Sunnybank Hills has this afternoon been located safe and well.

Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.

EARLIER: POLICE are appealing for public assistance to locate a 12-year-old girl reported missing from Sunnybank Hills yesterday.

The girl was last seen at her home address at Sunnybank Hills on Saturday morning but hasn't been seen since.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare as this behavior is out of character.

The missing person (pictured) is described as being Caucasian in appearance, grey/blue eyes, around 149cms tall and has a slim build with brown and blonde highlights, shoulder length hair.

Please note the missing parsons hair is longer than that depicted in the below photograph.

She was last seen wearing a grey "hello kitty" t-shirt, white sleeveless zip up jacket, black knee length skirt, black leggings and black running shoes.

Police are appealing for anyone that may have seen the girl to contact Crime Stoppers.
