Girl airlifted off Fraser Island after dune surfing accident
A GIRL, 13, has been left with a suspected dislocated shoulder after a sand dune surfing accident on Fraser Island.
The teenager was riding the dunes at Waddy Point on the island's north end when she was injured.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue was asked to airlift the girl just before 3.30pm on Wednesday afternoon.
The patient has a suspected dislocated shoulder and was airlifted to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition with her mother by her side.
