Has sport star support on the sport precinct influenced you?

INTERNATIONAL Rugby Union star Chris Latham says we need to build a sport precinct to better the opportunity for our young athletes.

Harry Kewell has also provided a letter of support for the Fraser Coast Regional Council's $52 million precinct.

In a letter to the council seen by the Chronicle Kewell writes about the potential for the region.

"I have had the opportunity to view the masterplan for the project and am excited to see such an investment being made into regional sports on the Fraser Coast, with a particular reference to the plans around the ten football (soccer) fields commencing in stage one of the project," he said.
