Have a Cuppa for Cancer at Bay's Orchid House on Wednesday

FRASER Coast residents are invited to enjoy a Cuppa for Cancer at the Hervey Bay Orchid House on Wednesday, May 22, from 10am to noon.

Entry to the event costs just $5 per person and all proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Council.

Organiser and resident horticulturalist Darryl Coombes said visitors will be treated to talks and demonstrations from a number of popular guest speakers.

"These events are always very popular and it's for a great cause," he said.

"We'll also be conducting guided tours of the botanic gardens as part of the admission price so it's a great chance to come down, enjoy a cuppa and take in some of our beautiful surroundings."

Bookings are not required and visitors of all ages are welcome.

The Orchid House is at the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens on Elizabeth St in Urangan.
