Haven't I seen you before?

TEACHERS at St Mary’s College may have quite a challenge on their hands getting to know the names and faces of their new students when school resumes next year.

Five sets of twins and one set of triplets have enrolled to start Year 8.

What’s more, two sets of twins are identical.

Yesterday Zoey and Christopher Licciardi, Allan and Allen Dube, Lachlan and Nigel Main, Kate and Peter Primavera, Mitchell and Nicholas Wadsworth and Jemma, Shannon and Hayley Coyne experienced their first taste of high school with their future classmates.

All twins and triplets say they are used to being mixed up with their siblings and were not surprised to find some confusion prevailed at the Year 8 orientation day.

“Our friends can tell which of us are which but our teachers always get confused,” said Allen Dube, who is identical to his brother Allan. “We’ve played tricks on our teachers before.”

The boys said they were looking forward to starting Year 8 at their new school next year.

School resumes on January 27.
