Community lends a hand for Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary

THE COMMUNITY has donated more than $300 towards the Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary's enclosure upgrades.

The sanctuary is hoping to raise $110,000 for new fences, enclosures and security cameras, after a swamp wallaby was shot on their property in November, and has set up a Gofundme page, asking for donations.

So far, the non-profit organisation has been given $345 by the community over the past month.

Go to www.gofundme.com/FraserCoastWild to make a donation.
