Helping you get on the road

TRIPPING around the Fraser Coast is now so much easier with the recent launch of Jirra Motorhomes at Tinana.

No longer will visitors have to make their way to the nearest motorhome hire company in Brisbane.

Brian and Donna Johnston have invested in two 23-foot motorhomes and intend to expand as demand continues, which won’t be far away if the first three months in business are anything to go by.

Donna said the Christmas and New Year holiday period was almost full already with “only a few slots left” in the booking sheet.

Maryborough locals are no strangers to the leisure industry – Brian launched the successful Johnno’s Camper Trailers and Elite Bike Campers. After a few years’ break, he and Donna are now back in business.

Jirra Motorhomes services the area from the Sunshine Coast to Bundaberg but will also pick up and deliver in Brisbane.

Brian said Jirra’s comfortable motorhomes gave the freedom and flexibility to explore the Fraser Coast’s environment, friendly people and relaxed lifestyle.

The vans include everything for a self-sufficient holiday – kitchens with microwaves, gas stoves, grills and refrigerators plus shower/toilet units, air-conditioning, TV and DVD player.

Behind the driver is belted seating for four and dining for six. The vehicles are fitted with large size side awnings.

If you’re thinking of buying a motorhome and joining the grey nomads to trip around Australia permanently, it would pay to try out the lifestyle first by hiring a motorhome from Brian and Donna.
