Hervey Bay man charged with murder

A HERVEY Bay man has been charged with a suspected murder in Victoria.

Homicide Squad Missing Persons Unit detectives have charged two men and arrested another today following the suspicious disappearance of a 30-year-old man.

The Camberwell man was last seen around 29 December, 2011, at his Bourke Road home.

Investigators today charged a 29-year-old Echuca man and a 42-year-old Hervey Bay man with murder.

The Hervey Bay suspect is Michael Dobrovitch, who moved to the Fraser Coast from Victoria.

Mr Dobrovitch appeared before Herveys Bay Magistrates' Court where an application for extradition was approved.

He will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The Echuca man will face Shepparton Magistrates' Court this afternoon.

A 45-year-old Bentleigh man has also been arrested and is assisting detectives with their enquiries.
