My Kitchen Rules contestants Dan and Steph give the thumbs up. Channel 7

HERVEY Bay couple Dan and Steph have lived to fight another day on Channel 7's My Kitchen Rules.

After a bright start with a confit salmon entree, Dan and Steph stumbled with their main course and dessert.

Many Fraser Coast residents followed all the action on TV, and also on the Chronicle's facebook page, with dozens of likes and comments on the live commentary.

Despite low scores for the main course and dessert, Dan and Steph finished one point higher than WA mother and daugher Lisa and Candice, who are former beauty queens.
