Saddle up for a sale

GET YOUR hands on some beaut horses and a huge variety of goodies at the Fraser Coast Show Society’s Horse Sale and General Auction.

The chance to buy and sell has expanded this year, with the general auction offering a variety of goods – from ride-on mowers to fishing rods and plants.

Whatever patrons would like to sell will go under the hammer this Sunday, September 26.

The Show Society is also hosting Trash and Treasure markets in front of the grandstand on the same day.

Showgirl entrants will make an appearance at the horse sale and a monster raffle will give ticket-buyers a chance to win a great range of prizes. Buskers will provide an entertaining atmosphere for the crowd.

A canteen will be available on the day from early morning with fabulous food and refreshments.

If you are in the market to buy or sell a horse, or a gift, or just want to enjoy the market and auction atmosphere, then come along.

Held at Maryborough Park, the gates will open at 7am for an 8am start to the markets. The auction starts at 9.30am.
