How to guide to share 'Your Story' with the Fraser Coast

THE Fraser Coast Chronicle is keen to hear more of your stories every day.

We even have a special section where you can contribute your story directly to our website.

It may be your son or daughter's sporting achievement, a special tribute to someone you love, your wedding day, the birth of your child, or their 21st birthday.

You might also have a local issue you want to get off your chest, or have a strong opinion on something that needs to be fixed in our community.

This is your forum to share.

So here's how you can do it.

Go to our Your Story page:

You will see that you have space for a title, a space for the story itself, and someone where you can upload an image from your own computer.

Use the title to describe what the story is about.

Try to use specific names or place names if relevant.

Think about if someone was searching on Google for this story, what words would they use?

That way more people are likely to see the story.

In the body of the story, make sure you put a space between each paragraph. Try to keep to one sentence per paragraph. Keep your sentences pretty simple - so they are easier to read and understand.
