Letters: Hundreds roll up to remember

I WOULD like to congratulate the people of Maryborough, who turned out in their hundreds to witness the 100th year of Anzac.

The day was of the sacrifice of fallen servicemen and women, mainly at Gallipoli, but also to further conflicts that Australia has contributed to the world in arresting the aggression and terrorism of this world.

Take a bow Maryborough, you are truly a city.

I love Maryborough as my adoptive home and will always stand to defend this city with all my heart.
