Hurricanes set for the Comets in CQBL

BASKETBALL: Hervey Bay Hurricanes will take its pursuit of the inaugural Central Queensland Basketball League title to its home court.

The Hurricanes will host Cooloola Comets on Saturday.

It has been a good year for the Hurricanes, who has already won against Maryborough in the opening rounds.

The Hurricanes sole loss came against Bundaberg, who leads both competitions.

Hervey Bay is second on the men's CQBL ladder, ahead of Gympie.

The women's team is second, ahead of Maryborough on only points differential.

The women's team will start proceedings at 5pm, before the men take the court at 7pm.
