Ian helps scooters to visit show

IAN Dinte, famous around the Fraser Coast for his outrageous costumes, has gone out of his way to bring people in mobility scooters to the show.

The street entertainer wore his finest costumes to this year's show, including a rainbow suit and a town criers' uniform, raising money for charity.

But this year Ian was also helping people by providing transport for those who would not normally be able to make it to the show.

"It started off as just a few, but soon lots of people heard about it," Ian said.

"They shouldn't have to miss out, and they are loving it."

Ian said he was planning on providing the transport again next year, and hopefully getting help from the show society.

"We're looking at turning it into an annual thing," he said.
