iLike it, say lucky iPad winners at Mungar State School

WINNERS are grinners at Mungar State School, where students will now have access to ten new iPads.

Principal Russell Hotchin said the 43 students and five staff were happy to be the winners of the Chronicle's education giveaway.

"As soon as it was announced I did a fist punch and all the kids cheered," he said. "We're so very thankful to the community for the great support."

Mr Hotchin said apps could be downloaded to the devices to improve literacy and numeracy skills.

"We were looking at buying iPads this year, so this is a major boost," he said. "We are hoping to have a class set by the end of the year."

"iPads help to learn," school caption Courtney Smallwood said.
