Incident involves taser and police dog at Booral

A 30-year-old man remains in custody after being tasered by police and set upon by a police dog at a property in Booral on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred at about 7pm after police officers were called to the property.

The man was arrested in relation to breaching a number of domestic violence order charges, a Hervey Bay policeman told the Chronicle.

He was also charged with break and enter as well as an attempt to obstruct police.

The man appeared in court on Wednesday and has been remanded in custody.

He is due to reappear in court on May 21.
