PAST Brothers' one-point win over Hervey Bay Seagulls is an early contender for game of the year but it may have come at a huge cost for both sides.

Respective coaches Mat Templeman and Tye Ingebrigtsen were two of up to six players left injured after the high-intensity encounter.

Ingebrigtsen lasted all of 15 minutes in the first Bundaberg Rugby League game of the season while Templeman left the ground in an ambulance soon after half time.

Both men are expected to spend lengthy stints on the sideline.

Ingebrigtsen dislocated his shoulder and the extent of the damage means he could miss 12 to 16 weeks.

Templeman suffered a hairline fracture to his fibula but did not know how long he would be out.

Who do you think will win the Bundaberg Rugby League premiership?
