Workshops to be held at Artspace

INTEREST in Gatakers Artspace is building thanks to workshops being held on the weekends leading up to the March 26 opening.

The first workshop with Japanese artist Moto Niwa was held on Saturday, with participants learning about taiko drumming and how to make cane sculptures.

Another workshop will run this Saturday and on the 20th and will feature dragon dancing and paper lantern making.

Venue details are on the council website, www.frasercoast.qld.gov.au.
