A POLICE investigation into the death of a Torquay woman during a boating incident at Curtis Island on December 27 last year is continuing, a Queensland Police Media spokesman confirmed.

The 73-year-old woman died at the scene after a boat carrying four people capsized off Central Queensland.

It is understood the recreational boat got into trouble after running aground on rocks near Pacific Creek.
