Ipswich man on charge of accessory to murder
A NORTH Ipswich man, 28, has been charged with being an accessory to murder in the alleged homicide of a Logan man.
He was due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Saturday after the body of 26-year-old Michael Klaassen, was found buried on a Logan Reserve property on Friday.
Forensic officers recovered the remains on Saturday. Scientific officers and detectives from Logan CIB and the Homicide Group examined crime scenes at both Logan Reserve and Burbank. Police have charged a Jimboomba man with murder and interfering with a corpse.
A Sherwood man was charged with one count each of accessory after the fact to murder and interfering with a corpse. A Upper Mount Gravatt woman, 32, and a Chambers Flat woman, 45, have been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
