Jewellery stolen from unit while owner in hospital

JEWELLERY was stolen from a unit while the owner was in hospital.

Police were called to a unit on Richmond St in Maryborough between August 29 and 31.

It is believed the criminal got through a locked window, removing the fly screen.

It is unknown at this stage exactly how they broke through the window

The jewellery was taken from the bedroom.

The value is unknown at this stage.
