Hop on and join the Ulysses toy run

PRESIDENT of the Fraser Coast branch of the Ulysses Club Kev Timms has encouraged all motorcyclists on the Fraser Coast to join with in the annual Fraser Coast Toy Run this Sunday and help the needy kids again this year.

“We don’t care if you ride a 50cc moped or a 2.3 litre rocket three,” he said.

“Please come along and help us make this event the success it has been in the past. Simply bring along a toy to be donated to the Salvation Army at Kondari Resort and a gold coin donation for the needy as well and ride from Maryborough to Hervey Bay with us.

“This has been a great way to help those less fortunate than us in the past and the Salvos really need a help along at this time of the year when resources are stretched to the limit in every way.”

The riders will gather at the Maryborough Sporties from 8.30am and depart from 10am.

The procession of bikes will travel to Hervey Bay along the Esplanade to Kondari.

Barbecue breakfast will be available at the Sporties Club for those interested.
