Inside Karl’s wild Studio 54 post-wedding celebrations
A STUDIO 54 themed fancy dress bash wrapped Karl Stefanovic's lavish four day Mexican wedding celebrations.
Guests went all out for the extravagant party on site at a restaurant at the One & Only resort where Stefanovic married partner Jasmine Yarbrough yesterday.
The couple flew in Sloane Angel, resident DJ for Soho House in the US to pump tunes with the party kicking off at 8pm local time on Monday. A bongo player also played along with the DJ.
Having partied until the early hours of the morning, guests spent the day chilling by the pool at the resort or sleeping in their rooms that cost more than $1000 a night.
Stefanovic and Yarbrough wed on the property at dusk yesterday surrounded by some 200 of their closest family and friends including his three children River, 12, Ava, 13, and Jackson, 19.
Yarbrough, 34, wore a bespoke Jess Andreatta dress while Stefanovic opted for a Tom Ford suit for the nuptials.
While billionaire James Packer was a last minute cancellation, celebrity guests included Stefanovic's TV host brother and wife Peter Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys.
Former Foreign Minister Julie Bishop was also a notable guest, mingling with models, fashionistas and social media stars.
"Everyone's really brought it with their outfits," said one guest. "There's tonnes of silver everything."
Stefanovic accessorised his Studio 54 look with an Afro wig while his new wife opted for a white ensemble - white shorts under a white feather dressed paired with silver over the knee boots.
Model Montana Cox wore a dark silver glitter playsuit while Christian Wilkins dressed in silver flairs and a flower crown.
Many guests ditched their shoes for hotel slippers.
Sylvia Jeffreys wore a slinky iridescent silver long sleeve dress.
Yarbrough's favourite snack is Burger Rings so bowls of the tasty food were on offer around the venue.
Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas had almost the entire party on the dance floor.
Stefanovic's 13-year-old Ava was carving it up with her cousin, Evee Pointon.
"Richard Wilkins is wearing animal print shoes but they could just be his normal ones," an observer joked.
The ageing Today entertainment reporter was overheard pulling the don't you know who I am card.
"I introduced myself and asked what he did and he said, 'well you mustn't watch much television then'," the bemused guest recalled.
