Kayla Boyd’s tells of Darius’ affair, abortion backlash
BRONCOS captain Darius Boyd's wife Kayla has made explosive claims her husband had an affair, in an emotive tell-all about their rocky marriage.
While Boyd was in the sheds warming up to take on the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park for his 250th game Thursday night, the interview went to air on Channel 9, with Kayla giving a personal insight into their relationship, claiming he was "sleeping with other people".
The pair, who have been married for almost three years and have a one-year-old daughter named Willow, called it quits after Mrs Boyd found out about her husband's affair.
"I'd just had enough," she said. "I was 100 per cent done.
"I'm shocked that I'm sitting here talking about him and we're still married.
"I don't want to be looked at like, 'Oh, her marriage is perfect'. There are flaws and many cracks."
What followed was a downward spiral for Boyd, who famously walked away from the NRL in 2014 and had a stint in rehab.

The Maroon dealt with his depression and worked on his marriage before making a triumphant return to the NRL in 2015.
But the couple suffered another low last year when Mrs Boyd had a miscarriage before falling pregnant four months later and terminating that pregnancy because she "wasn't ready".
She told The Courier-Mail last September the couple had decided to have an abortion because of their "hectic life", and said she was bullied online after the story went to publish.
"I got called a murderer, a killer, and that I don't deserve the gift of life," she said.
"People said they wished I'd never fall pregnant again.
"Everybody knows we have gone through the worst crap and everything that would tear a relationship apart," Mrs Boyd added.
"And that's why we both literally hold our heads extremely high because we can be 100 per cent genuinely happy with where we are."

The two both featured in the emotive interview and discussed how they'd overcome their hard times to remain together. Boyd did not address the infidelity claims, but reveals in Qweekend tomorrow that he is happier than ever.
"I wouldn't have been able to get through it (depression) and out the other side without Kayla's support," he said.
