Keep an eye out for a Hollywood star in our midst

AN INTERNATIONAL film star has traded Hollywood for Gunalda, which means locals could get a glimpse of blonde bombshell Tara Reid.

The Chronicle is asking readers to keep an eye out for the actress/model as she gets around the region.

The paper would love to talk to her and see what she thinks of the Wide Bay as she films her latest movie in the area.

The American Pie actress is filming horror flick Charlie's Farm, directed by Queensland filmmaker Chris Sun.

Locations for the slasher film have been kept under wraps by producers but they filmed one scene at the Gunalda Hotel recently.

It's believed, but not confirmed, the film crew has been shooting at a Lagoon Pocket farm, and filming is understood to be taking place in other areas south of Maryborough.

While Reid has posted photos on her Twitter account of her frolicking at a Coolum beach, fans would be best to keep their eyes out for the Hollywood name too.

She was reported talking to Kyle Sandilands on Sydney radio this week saying she was currently filming in Gympie.
