Kevin has a blast with shotgun

KEVIN Perkins prefers to stay out of the limelight.

He doesn't like to be interviewed or have his photograph taken.

Perkins is content to let his gun do the talking, something he's happy about and good at.

The shy Maryborough Clay Target Club member proved that during the South East Zone Championships at his club.

He won the 25 Target Double Barrel Championship, one of seven events contested by 98 competitors during the two-day event, and he won it in style.

The retired former New South Wales resident won the title after a shoot- off with an amzing perfect score of 90/90.

His impressive form saw Perkins join another member of the Maryborough club, Gerry Chizzotti, in winning selection in the Zone veteran's team to contest the Queensland Championships.
