The business to replace Open House Cafe in Hervey Bay

A DASH of red is enough to welcome a new neighbour to Boat Harbour Dr - especially if they've moved from the other end of town.

The King Kong Sales store in Urangan has relocated from its original Pier St address to 125 Boat Harbour Dr, filling in the space originally occupied by Open House Retail.

Julie Cummings, who runs the Eli Waters branch, said it was an exciting new challenge for the store to move to a much bigger premises.

"This space is double the size of the Urangan store, so there is a very good chance of more jobs being on offer."

Ms Cummings said the new store would hopefully be open mid-March.

"We're all super excited for the move; it's a new challenge," she said.
