Latest Sydney shooting may be gang related police say

A SHOOTING in Sydney's west on Tuesday night may be gang-related, as two men possibly involved remain at large after the shooting in Woodcroft.

A 32-year-old man was found in a carpark in a reserve near Blacktown with head wounds from the shooting at about 10.30pm.

Detective Inspector Paul Tickner told ABC the shooting may be gang-related, and possibly two gunmen may still be on the run.

While he could not confirm there were two shooters involved, police have established a crime scene at the carpark.

The injured man was taken to hospital and was in a stable condition on Wednesday afternoon.
