Learn more about NDIS in free information sessions

PEOPLE interested in learning more about the National Disability Insurance Scheme and how it will affect them can attend information sessions on the Fraser Coast this week.

Queenslanders with Disability Network will bring its travelling workshop to Hervey Bay today and Maryborough tomorrow.

QDN chief executive officer Fran Vicary said she understood people with disabilities, parents and carers were wanting information on the NDIS and what is happening in Queensland during the launch phase.

She said the information sessions would be open to the public and would provide an opportunity for people to get answers to any questions they might have about the scheme.

  • Thursday, Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre, 10.30am - 2pm
  • Friday, Maryborough RSL, 10.30am - 2pm
