At least one person taken to hospital after Tinana crashes

AT LEAST one person has been taken away in an ambulance after a two-vehicle crash on Gympie Rd at Tinana.

The crash, involving a van and a ute, happened about 12.15pm outside the Riverview Hotel Motel.

Traffic is delayed because one side of the road is blocked.

Police, fire and ambulance officers are at the scene.

About 1km further along the same road, between Eatonvale and Woongool Rds, a hatchback and a sedan have been involved in what looks like a rear-end crash.

A bystander said both crashes happened about the same time and both drivers are believed to be p-platers.

A long line of traffic is waiting to pass the crash site.
