SPORTING groups and Fraser Coast residents have less than two weeks remaining to submit a comment on the Fraser Coast Sport and Recreation Precinct Draft Master Plan.

The plans include facilities for BMX, netball, soccer, hockey, rugby league and tennis; a premier field; indoor multipurpose stadium; satellite hubs to service each of the sports and an internal road network which could double as a bike track.

People are invited to lodge a written submission, addressed to the chief executive officer, 77 Tavistock St, Hervey Bay by 4.45pm on Friday, August 16.

Electronic submissions can be forwarded to opportunities@fraser coastqld.gov.au.
