LETTER: Ripping up pavers will be death sentence for shops
LETTER TO EDITOR: When is this council going to listen to the ratepayers?
First off most people do not want the pavers ripped up in Maryborough as we all know this will be the death sentence for what shops that are left in those streets.
Then there is the sale of the original Maryborough site when just this week they skite about a couple of thousand building sites available at the proposed new marina site.
Then they want paid parking in Hervey Bay when we know if a parking inspector was employed this would raise more money than paid parking as those abusing the system would have to pay because some would only go out and use money from the till for the meters.
Then there are serviceable footpaths, gutters and drains ripped up and replaced in Maryborough.
They are a heath hazard and a danger because of this council not cleaning and repairing them after the 2013 flood.
