Light-fingered, one-legged man sought

POLICE need help reeling in a one-legged bandit after fishing merchandise was stolen from a Hervey Bay tackle shop yesterday.

About 10am, Fraser Coast Rod and Reel worker Andy Beer was gathering products from the freezer at the back of the shop when a male on crutches took off with a fishing reel.

He was described as a one-legged man in his 40s wearing a blue singlet in the company of a male in a white singlet.

Anyone with information can phone Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
