LNP poll woe
A NEW poll out today reveals deep cuts to the public service have decimated support for the Newman government on the Fraser Coast.
In a backlash of staggering ferocity, 72.1% of people polled said they would not have voted LNP if they knew of the changes the Newman government was going to ram through.
More than 67% of those surveyed said slashing of public sector jobs had a negative impact on their opinion of the government.
Almost 50% of respondents rated the government's overall performance as "terrible".
Fraser Coast residents caned Premier Newman personally with more than 65% rating him as arrogant and 62% condemning him as an ineffective leader.
On every question in the poll conducted by Australian Regional Media, publishers of the Fraser Coast Chronicle, the news was dismal for the fledgling State Government.
