Locked vehicle stolen from car park at Beach House Hotel

THE last thing a Hervey Bay man expected to discover was his vehicle missing after having a couple of drinks at a popular venue on the Esplanade.

He returned to the rear car park at the Beach House Hotel just after 8pm to find his maroon Holden Commodore nowhere to be seen.

The locked vehicle was stolen between 4pm and about 8.10pm on Sunday.

Police are investigating the crime.

It is unknown how the criminals got into the vehicle.

Anyone with information that may help police should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
