Calendar Girls

  • What: The comedy based on the true story from the film of the same name continues its run on the Z-PAC stage.

Monster trucks

  • What: The monster trucks are rolling in to town. A show'n'shine will go from 1-4pm before the main program starts at 4pm. There will be jumping castles and giveaways. Fireworks will cap off the night.
  • When: Gates open 1pm Saturday, with the main program starting at 4pm.
  • Where: Maryborough Speedway.
  • Cost: Adults $25, pensioners $15, students (under 18) $15, kids under-12 free. Family (two adults and up to three students) $65. Tickets can be pre-purchased in Hervey Bay at Harvey World Travel and Hervey Bay Wreckers, or in Maryborough at Auto Barn and Bob Jane T-Mart.

Z-PAC Theatre Auditions

  • When: Saturday, 12.30-5.30pm with the possibility of call backs (if necessary) on Monday, September 2, at 7pm.
  • Where: Z-PAC Theatre, Zephyr St, Scarness.
  • What: Auditions are being called for the madcap British farce Not Now Darling, written by Ray Cooney and John Chapman. The play will be directed by Graeme Roberts. Migaloo Starlight Swing

  • What: Bring a picnic or grab a bite to eat from one of the local cafes/takeaways and enjoy music under the stars from the Hervey Bay City Musicians and Rob McCullough. Wear a tux or white frock in honour of Migaloo the white whale.
