Luke Paroz banks golf win

THE bank balance of Luke Paroz improved nicely at Burrum District Golf Club in Howard yesterday afternoon.

Paroz won all of the money on offer during the fourth annual $5000, four-hole, four player skins match at the club but it took some work to cash in.

Paroz , who carded a two under par 32 in the nine-hole corporate pro am to earn his place in the skins, won with a birdie on the first play-off hole after Hervey Bay professional sent the event into extra time.

Taylor sunk a big putt on the fourth and final hole to deny Brad Johnson from winning all the cash after the money had jackpotted after each previous hole had been halved.

The two other professionals in action in the skins were Wade Brunjes and Josh Farr.

Spaniard Daniel Tyzzer Garcia missed playing in the skins after carding a 37.

The $10,000 pro am will be contested today.
