Lunch with Ipswich mayor

THE REDEVELOPMENT of Maryborough’s central business area is on the agenda for discussion at the chamber of commerce breakfast in March.

Secretary Shona Mullholland said part of the redevelopment process was to look at other cities that have been successful in revitalising their CBDs.

“Ipswich is a standout,” she said. “Mayor Paul Pisasale has been incredibly helpful in supporting us and is speaking at a lunch on Tuesday, February 9 specifically about revitalising our city.”

To book for lunch at the Brolga theatre on February 9, 11.30am for a noon start, phone 0407 872 876 or log into www.maryboroughchamberqld.com.au before noon, Friday, February 5; $50 members, $60 non-members.
