Luxury riverside units go on sale
MARYBOROUGH’S first luxury riverside apartment complex has this week been unveiled in what has been described as a “defining moment for the city of Maryborough”.
Riverview on March was put on the market on Monday by property developer Ron Blyth from Belela.
Sitting directly opposite the Mary River Parklands on the corner of Wharf and March streets, all six apartments – ranging in price from $799,000 to $1,150,000 – have sweeping views of the Mary River.
“Available coastal property is becoming scarce and more expensive and I believe that Maryborough, with its historical charm and position on the river, is perfectly poised to become a very desirable river change destination,” Mr Blyth said.
“I see these apartments as more than an exciting new building – it demonstrates in a visible way the confidence we have in Maryborough’s future growth and desirability.”
All six apartments have three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a balcony, oversized living areas and unique features such as louvres and security video intercoms.
Already two prospective buyers have shown serious interest in two separate apartments.
“The opening of Riverview on March is a defining moment for the city of Maryborough,” said Gerard O’Connell, Fraser Coast councillor and chair of the economic development portfolio.
“In keeping with the Bridge to Brolga plan it is the start of new and exciting residential living.
“This type of development will not only enhance the riverside area but will add to the quality of living available in a growing and attractive city.”
