Man, 44, charged over Craignish fatal crash

A 44-YEAR-OLD man has been charged for allegedly causing a fatal car crash which took the life of a Dundowran Beach man.

Police have charged the Craignish man with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

The Pialba-Burrum Heads Rd crash at Craignish on December 15 last year killed Raymond Burke at the scene.

Police have also charged the 44-year-old with driving licence was suspended, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle and attaching false plates to a car.

He will appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on May 19.
