Man, 45, head-butts glass door at Maryborough Hospital

A MAN who head-butted a glass door at the Maryborough Hospital has been treated for a cut to the head.

A Maryborough police spokesman said the 45-year-old man head-butted the door in the emergency department after causing a disturbance at the hospital about 10am on Thursday.

The door was left with a 'spider web crack' in the glass.

The man also allegedly stole some confectionary from the café near the hospital.

The man was issued with a notice to appear in Maryborough Magistrates Court at a later date.
